Tameka & Usher Deny Divorce Rumors

Yesterday, in a real case of He Said, She Said, the blogs as well as some websites went wild with rumors that Tameka and Usher may be calling it a quits after less than a year of marriage. Of course we were reluctant to post the story because there was basically no official information that backed up this allegation… Plus, long before this website was launched Usher and Tameka had taken an unnecessary beating particularly in the celebrity focused blogosphere. We’ve always taken the stance that even though we don’t know Usher or Tameka personally, it’s unfortunate.
More so than anything, if you look at some of the comments posted over the last year in regards to their marriage, it’s sad to see how obsessed young (and some older ones, I’m sure) people are with aesthetics and the notions of beauty they have concocted. Since when does how a person look or his/her age determine whether or not they should marry another? Sure, as Hollywood has told us, typically the older curmudgeonly man gets the younger beautiful wife (and we assume it’s because of his money and power) and it’s a-ok. But when Usher takes an “unlikely” wife (simply because she’s older and previously married) all hell breaks loose.
Well this morning, a representative in Tameka and Usher’s camp put the smack down and confirmed that the two are not getting a divorce. Our good friends over at All Hip Hop have added that they’ve heard Tameka will be firing back and that the Raymond family will be featured in an upcoming spread in Essence magazine… So, on a good note, you will get to see little Usher up close and personal.

It’s so damned obvious that they love each other to pieces. You have to be a mature person to see that and have some life experience. After being brought up by a strong older woman as a single parent, he was always going to be wanting a woman not a girl. Tameka obviously has made him go from man to boy. it was her that encouraged him to reconcile with his father. She’s a good woman, you can tell. Just listen to the track on the new album ‘Before I Met You’ and other tracks dedicated to her. he has musically developed and matured. Usher might have been able to have any woman he wanted, but it was obvious it felt empty for him. Alcia Keys said it “it talks a Real Man to Know a Real Woman when he sees Her”. What is wrong with these people? Has this woman secretly plotted against Ushers life in a way that only star struck fans can identify? Is she having filmed affairs with other men, women, and animals? (that only the star struck fans can see) Or is she just a good woman, that’s good to him in a way that the “fandom” and the “stardom” just aint ready for yet? She’s not ugly. if anything, I’d be concerned for her marrying a man who has such status as he for fear of unfaithfulness. Pray for her, and him to be true to eachother, happy and strong. And let’s try to pull our frontal lobes out of our hind quarters, shall we?

Ordinary people have filled themselves with botox and silicon in the name of looking fabulous. Now Michael Jackson who was an ordinary cutie is now a monster that scares small children. Tameka is married to a man who obviously loves her. Any man who marries a man with 4 kids is obviously in love. Yall get over yoruselves.
Amazing how we can have Barack and Michelle’s back and celebrate their marriage. We exclaim how great Angelina and Brad look together, meanwhile tearing down Tameka and Usher. If Usher didn’t have money, he would just another big earred short brother. If anything Tameka has supported and assisted in his stardom as well. It doesn’t look as if she’s caused any destruction to his image just yet.
It is a shame that ppl are hating on this black woman, ESPECIALLY BLACK WOMEN. i believe if he married a young light skinned woman with a big butt then no one would attack her they way ppl do Tameka. He talks about her in every interview DUH because HE LOVES HER! Hair stylist great fashion sense. great business mind. great body after all the kids. what more can a man ask for. Usher is lucky. Tameka is lucky. If your hubby gives you a diamond ring wrapped in newspaper it is still a diamond ring. If he gives you a toaster wrapped in a prada box it is still a toaster.
